Scary... If I am not wrong this is Romulus Whitaker's project. He has done yeoman service towards preservation of snakes and crocs. I remember seeing his Snake Park in Guindy, Chennai (then Madras) enroute to Kerala from Shillong in January 1978. We had till evening to catch our connecting train...
Recommended: Snakeman by Zai Whitaker (Penguin India)
p.s. Crocs aren't as scary as some of our netas...

Hello Dev,

It is the Whitaker project. I couldnt visit the Guindy Park, though, I remember vividly the great snake show from my last visit when I was a kid. This is my first visit to croc bank enroute to Mahabalipuram.
Its decent and worth every penny, esp for a bio enthusiast. The punch line of the project is something you would surely approve: Crocs are cool. ;)
